Invitation Issued!

Our LOI (Letter of Invitation) has been signed and we are welcome to enter Kazakhstan next weekend! If all goes as planned, we will begin our lengthy flight from Washington DC this upcoming Thursday eve, February 1st.

If we arrive in Kostanai over the weekend as currently scheduled, then Monday we'll visit the orphanage where we'll meet the newest addition to the Watrous family.

January Update

Rumor has it we are reeeeellly close to receiving our invitation to enter the country of Kazakhstan. Right now, our paperwork is in the region of Kostanai which is located in north central Kazakhstan. Quite close to the Russian border. Keep your fingers crossed for travel before the end of January!
